Signed Protocol on Prevention and Combating VAW and Domestic Violence in Brčko District BiH-Potpisan Protokol o sprečavanju i suzbijanju nasilja prema ženama i nasilja u porodici u Brčko distriktu BiH

4 May 2018 – As a part of activities directed toward capacity building of the subjects of protection from violence in the Brčko District BiH, the Foundation United Women Banja Luka organized adaptation and opening of the office of the Sub-department for Social Protection, which created conditions for providing psychosocial support and assistance for women survivors of violence through work of psychologist and social worker. This is the only service of psychosocial support in Brčko District BiH, and will enable women survivors of violence the access to support and protection of their rights. At the end of April, public institutions and civil society organizations in Brčko District BiH – Prosecutor’s Office, Police, Department for Health and Other Services, Department for Education, Health Center, the Association of Active Women GENDER and the BiH Journalists, Journalist’ Club of Bosanska Posavina signed the Protocol on Cooperation and Procedures in Cases of Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence in Brčko District BiH. They committed to foster mutual cooperation with objective to provide more all-encompassing support to the victims of domestic violence, and actively contribute to enabling systemic and adequate way of reacting on domestic violence.
Activities are part of the Project “Empowering Prevention and Fighting Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence in Brčko District BiH” implemented by the United Women Banja Luka and Vive žene Tuzla, as a part of the UN Women Project „Standards and Engagement for Prevention of Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, financially supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

4 maj 2018 – U okviru aktivnosti usmjerenih na izgradnju kapaciteta subjekata zaštite od nasilja u Brčko distriktu Bosne i Hercegovine, Fondacija Udružene žene Banja Luka je organizovala adaptaciju i otvaranje kancelarije Pododjeljenja za socijalnu zaštitu, čime su stvoreni uslovi za pružanje psihosocijalne pomoći i podrške ženama koje su preživjele nasilje, kroz rad psihologa i socijalnog radnika. Ovo je jedini servis psihosocijalne podrške u Brčko distriktu BiH i omogućiće ženama koje su u stanju potrebe pristup pomoći i zaštiti prava. Krajem aprila, u Brčko distriktu Bosne i Hercegovine Tužilaštvo, Policija, Odjeljenje za zdravstvo i ostale usluge, Odjeljenje za obrazovanje, Zdravstveni centar, Udruženje aktivnih žena GENDER i BiH Novinari, Klub novinara Bosanska Posavina su potpisali i Protokol o saradnji i postupanju u slučaju nasilja nad ženama i nasilja u porodici u Brčko distriktu BiH, čime su se obavezali na međusobnu saradnju u cilju pružanja kompletnije podrške žrtvama nasilja u porodici i aktivni doprinos omogućavanju sistemskog i adekvatnog načina reagovanja na nasilje u porodici.
Aktivnosti su dio projekta “Osnaživanje prevencije i borbe protiv nasilja prema ženama i nasilja u porodici u Brčko Distriktu BiH” kojeg provode Udružene žene Banja Luka i Vive žene Tuzla, a u okviru UN Women projekta „Standardi i angažman za sprečavanje nasilja nad ženama i nasilja u porodici u Bosni i Hercegovini“, koji finansijski podržava Švedska agencija za međunarodni razvoj i saradnju (SIDA).
