Serbia submitted an official report to the GREVIO group, there are still no reports from the shadow / Srbija podnela zvanični izveštaj GREVIO grupi, još nema izveštaja iz senke

August 17th, 2018: The first official report about the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on the Prevention and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention) submitted by Serbia to the GREVIO Expert Group – the international body responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Convention, was led by the Gender Equality Coordinating Body, in cooperation with 260 subjects, from the national, provincial and local level. The report was handed over on July 3, and was published on the Council of Europe website on 4 July.

A two-year process of evaluation of the reports and activities undertaken by the state by the ratification of the Istanbul Convention is underway and will give guidance to the authorities on recommendations for further activities aimed at combating gender-based violence.

The first state report, which lists all the important legislative and strategic measures taken by the state in the fight against gender-based violence, corroborated by relevant statistical data, is available to the public on the Council of Europe website, https://rm.coe.int/grevioinf-2018-9/16808c1a4e

A coalition of 10 civil society organizations dealing with human rights, trafficking in human beings, discrimination, etc., led by the Women’s Support Center in Kikinda, write a report from the GREVIO shadow, and it is not yet known when it will be published.

Prvi zvanični izveštaj o primeni Konvencije Saveta Evrope o sprečavanju i borbi protiv nasilja nad ženama i nasilja u porodici (Istanbulska konvencija), koji Srbija podnosi GREVIO ekspertskoj grupi – međunarodnom telu koje je nadležno za praćenje realizacije Konvencije, vodilo je Koordinaciono telo za rodnu ravnopravnost u saradnji sa 260 subjekata, sa nacionalnog, pokrajinskog i lokalnog nivoa. Izveštaj je predat 3. jula, a na satu Saveta Evrope objavljen 4. jula.

U toku je dvogodišnji proces evaluacije izveštaja i aktivnosti koje je država preduzela ratifikovanjem Istanbulske konvencije, a koji će nadležnima dati smernice i preporuke za dalje aktivnosti usmerene na borbu protiv rodno zasnovanog nasilja.

Koalicija od 10 organizacija civilnog sektora, koje se bave ljudskim pravima, trgovinom ljudima, diskriminacijom itd, na čelu sa Centrom za podršku ženama iz Kikinde, pišu izveštaj iz senke za GREVIO, a još uvek nije poznato kada će on biti objavljen.
