Representatives of American Embassy visiting our SOS shelter/Predstavnici Američke Ambasade u posjeti SOS skloništu

Representatives of the US Embassy, Mrs Siddha Page and  Mr Jason Smith, visited the SOS shelter last week. During the visit, they were introduced with the capacities of the shelter, the conditions for the stay of women and children survivors of violence in the shelter, as well as the services we provide.

A special focus of the visit was placed on the children’s playground in the yard of the shelter, which was ruined due to weather conditions and years of use.

During the meeting, it was agreed that through the project, the Embassy would completely renew the playground and bring it back to its purpose and safe use for all children who are staying and who will stay in the shelter.

By the end of 2021, the playground will be renovated and ready for use.

Predstavnici Američke Ambasade gđa Siddha Page i gdin Jason Smith, prošle sedmice boravili su u radnoj posjeti SOS skloništu. Tokom posjete upoznali su se sa kapacitetima skloništa, uslovima za boravak žena i djece sa iskustvom nasilja u skloništu,kao i uslugama koje im pružamo.

Poseban fokus posjete stavljen je na dječje igralište u dvorištu skloništa, koje je usled vremenskih uslova i godina korišenja ruinirano.

Tokom sastanka, dogovoreno je da kroz projekat Ambasada obnovi igralište u potpunosti i dovede ga opet namjeni i bezbjednom korišćenju za svu djecu koja borave i koja će boraviti u skloništu.

Do kraja 2021. godine igralište će biti renovirano i spremno za upotrebu.
