CSSP Regional Partners meet in Belgrade for Project Kick-Off

January 31, 2018 – Regional partners from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Turkey and Serbia as well as three representatives from the WAVE office attended the Civil Society Strengthening Platform Kick-off meeting. The meeting took place from January 25th-26th at the Human Right’s House in Belgrade, Serbia.

During the first day of the meeting the participants shared ideas on what they would like to get out of the project and how they wanted to continue working on it. Presentations were furthermore made by Stephanie Futter-Orel and Anca Ciupa from the WAVE office on the one-year project and its goals; the project activities and deliverables and partner/lead partner roles and timelines.

Lina Piskernik from the WAVE office started the second day of the meeting by presenting the CSSP website & Social Media Strategy. The participants came up with two hashtags for the project #Strongtogether and #CSSPagainstVAWG. The meeting ended with a discussion on the future sustainability of the project.
