“Naming and shaming sexual violence against women and children in Montenegro”/“Osvijetlimo mrak seksualnog nasilja“
Within the project “Naming and shaming sexual violence against women and children in Montenegro” on April 23rd 2019, twenty journalists from the Montenegrin media signed the Declaration on a Consistent, Ethical Approach to the Sexual Violence Problem. The idea of making and signing the Declaration came after the training of journalists in November 2018 on “Ethical reporting of the media on sexual violence” with the aim of contributing to the creation of encouraging and supportive space in the media for survivors of sexual violence.
The project with the financial support of the European Union, is being implemented by SOS Hotline for Women and Children Victims of Violence Niksic, Safe Women’s House and NGO “Prima” from Podgorica.
