Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro visited SOS shelter/ Šefica Misije OEBSa u Crnoj Gori u posjeti SOS skloništu

On December 23, we were pleased to have the SOS Shelter visited by the new Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, Ms. Dominique Waag. This visit was a great opportunity to introduce Ms. Waag to the work of our organization, the services we provide as well as other activities. In addition, this meeting was a great opportunity to introduce the Head of the OSCE Mission with the policy paper we have created within the CSSP project; findings and recommendations from the document.

Ms. Waag pointed out that the Mission continuously provides support to civil society organizations and shelters. “The main goal is to help obtain and renew licenses for shelters, as well as to improve living conditions for women and children victims of violence.”
During the conversation, the ambassador also noted that “Close cooperation between the state and civil society is essential for finding solutions that protect and support women victims of domestic violence.”
