BiH: Za život žena – Obilježavanje Međunarodnog dana žena/For a Life of Women – Commemorating International Women’s Day
10 03 2022 – Fondacija „Udružene žene” aktivno učestvuje u aktivnostima kampanje povodom obilježavanja Međunarodnog dana žena u Banja Luci, u saradnji sa organizacijama civilnog društva – “Oštra nula”, “Helsinški parlament građana”, “Vizart”, Radnička solidarnost”, “Kvart” iz Prijedora, te aktivnu podršku i učešće Gradske uprave Banja Luka.
Aktivnosti kampanje su započele 07. marta 2022.g., projekcijom filma „Ženski pogled“, režiserke Lejle Hrkalović, koji govori o ženama na Balkanu i njihovom položaju u društvu te panel diskusijom. 08. marta 2022.g. u Banja Luci je organizovan osmomartovski marš pod nazivom „Siguran porođaj je političko pitanje“ u okviru kojeg su na Gradskom trgu u Banja Luci aktivistkinje pročitale iskustva žena koja ukazuju na brojne probleme u kontekstu pristupa zdravstvenoj zaštiti i sigurnom porođaju za žene u Bosni i Hercegovini.
Aktivnosti u okviru kampanje „Za život žena“ će trajati do kraja marta 2022.g. i uključivaće panel diskusije o radnim pravima žena i diskriminaciji u oblasti rada i zapošljavanja, interaktivni sajam za ekonomsko osnaživanje žena, te feminističku turu tokom koje će građani i građanke biti upoznate sa znamenitim ženama koje su doprinijele unapređenju prava žena kroz istoriju grada Banja Luka.
10 03 2022 – Foundation „United Women” is actively contributing to the campaign activities of commemorating the International Women’s Day in Banja Luka, in cooperation with the civil society organizations – “Oštra nula”, “Helsinški parlament građana”, “Vizart”, Radnička solidarnost”, “Kvart” from Prijedor, with active support and participation of the City Administration of Banja Luka.
Campaign activities started on 07 March, 2022, with projection of the movie “Women’s View”, directed by Lejla Hrkalović, dedicated to women in the Balkans and their position in the society, and follow up panel discussion. At 8 March 2022, 8th March protest march under slogan “Safe Childbirth is a Political Issue”, during which women activists read the experiences of women that indicate numerous issues in access to health protection and safe childbirth for women in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Activities of the campaign „For a Life of Women” will last until the end of March 2022, and will include panel discussions on labor rights of women and discrimination in the area of work and employment, interactive fair for economic empowerment of women, and feminist tour during which women and men citizens will have the opportunity to learn about distinguished women that contributed to improving women’s human rights throughout the history of Banja Luka.
