B&H: Stronger Women with Disabilities within Women’s Movement/BiH: Snažnije žene sa invaliditetom u ženskom pokretu

04 June 2019 – During the joint training held from 31 May to 2 June 2019 in Kozarska Dubica, women with disabilities and women members women’s civil society organizations in five local communities in the Republika Srpska defined joint activities that could be implemented toward increasing visibility of women with disabilities within women’s movement of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Local communities involved in this process are Banja Luka, Prijedor, Kozarska Dubica, Modriča and Bijeljina. During this training, representative of the Foundation United Women shared examples of good practices of involving women with disabilities in fighting for women’s human rights.

The training was held as the activity within the project “Stronger Women with Disabilities within Women’s Movement of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, supported by TRAG Foundation, and implemented by the Association of Women with Disabilities Nika from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

04. juni 2019.g. – Žene sa invaliditetom i predstavnice ženskih organizacija iz pet lokalnih zajednica u Republici Srpskoj su na zajedničkom treningu koji je održan u Kozarskoj Dubici od 31. maja do 2. juna 2019. godine definisale aktivnosti koje zajedno mogu realizovati u narednom periodu sa ciljem povećanja vidljivosti žena sa invaliditetom u ženskom pokretu Bosne i Hercegovine. Lokalne zajednice koje su uključene u ovaj proces su Banja Luka, Prijedor, Kozarska Dubica, Modriča i Bijeljina. Predstavnica Fondacije Udružene žene je na ovom treningu podjelila primjere dobre prakse uključivanja žena sa invaliditetom u borbu za ženska ljudska prava.

Trening je održan u okviru projekta “Snažnije žene sa invaliditetom u ženskom pokretu BiH” koji je podržala TRAG Fondacija, a koji realizuje Udruženje žena sa invaliditetom Nika iz Banjaluke, BiH.
